A recurring time is a specific timeframe that is repeated each day over the course of a date range. In terms of your availability calendar it is similar to blocking a partial day, but for many dates at once.
Add A Recurring Time
At this time there is no way to accomplish this using your availability calendar, aside from adding the record to each day manually. Fortunately, our computer nerds have devised a solution and can block your recurring time for you. All you need to do is submit a ticket with the following details:
- The time that needs to be blocked. For example, 7am to 9am or 4pm to 6pm. The time you specify must be the same for each day that you want to block.
- The date range that we should block. For example, 8/1 to 8/22. Or, if you want to block days you can specify Monday through Friday. If you only want to block days, like Monday-Friday, you should still specify the date range that this should apply to
Once we have completed your request you will be able to view or edit the recurring times on your availability calendar.
The availability calendar doesn't allow conflicting records to be saved. This means that if you want to block a full day (or date range), and those dates already have a recurring time blocked, you will need to first delete the conflicting recurring time records. Once the conflicting records have been deleted you will be free to block your dates.
