A booking request is sent from a customer to a mover detailing the specific date and time that service is required. The mover will initially have 24 hours to accept or decline the request. If they do not respond within the initial 24 hours the response period will usually be extended for an additional 24 hours. If the mover doesn't respond within the response period then the request will expire. A booking request becomes a reservation once the mover has accepted. At this point the mover has confirmed and scheduled the customer.

Keep In Mind: Most movers will respond to a request within a few hours.

At any point in the booking request or reservation process the details of the move, as well as the current status, can be viewed online by both the customer and the mover. The customer can view their details by accessing the customer summary, and the mover can view the move details by logging into their vendor account.

If a booking request has not been responded to by the mover it can be withdrawn (cancelled) without penalty. However, once a booking request has been accepted, the reservation will be subject to the terms of our cancellation policy.
